At La Marqueza Equestrian, every design begins with the vision and hands of an artist: Eduardo Márquez — an internationally recognized equestrian artist and the creative force behind our brand.

Eduardo is more than our creative director. He is the co-founder of La Marqueza, and the artistic soul who gives form, elegance, and purpose to each piece we craft.

Born in Cali, Colombia, Eduardo was shaped by the beauty of his homeland: the mountains of the Andes, the rhythm of salsa, fields of sugarcane — and always, the presence of horses. These early experiences became the foundation of his artistic voice. Later, he refined his talent at the College of Art and Design in Boston, where he explored classical technique through painting, sculpture, and drawing on a global stage.

Today, Eduardo’s work is celebrated worldwide, known for capturing horses not just as subjects — but as symbols of power, grace, and timeless beauty. That same spirit lives within every La Marqueza creation.
